Hi we are Ultimate Entertainments and we service Brierley Hill Civic with themed disco events for over 10 years. The discos vary from Classic Soul to 00's disco music.
Primarily our events start at 8pm and finish at 1am, with a few exceptions, We Got Soul.
Our Daytime Disco (Rhythm of the Day) - starts at 2pm and finishes at 6pm (doors open at 1.30pm)
Our daft BARMY BINGO - it is what is sounds like - "barmy" with a night of games of bingo, daft prizes, compere "King of the Callers" along with sing-a-longs and power disco doors opens at 7pm and Bingo at 8pm and finishes at Midnight.

This is The Rhythm of The Day, The Civic’s own Ultimate Daytime Disco.
Generally running on the last Saturday of the month, you get a full on party event in the afternoon. The music is generally old school – think 70’s 80’s 90’s 00’s – and the vibe is just brilliant. Classic tunes, nothing too obscure, all aimed at a totally uplifting vibe.
Now in it’s third year, folk come to have a really great time, in a great venue, with all the sounds, lights, videos, of our regular evening events, but in the afternoon – and the atmosphere is always great.
We wrap up at 6pm, so plenty of time to head home for the telly or back out for another night on the town!

We Got Soul – The Ultimate Soul and Motown Night

We Got Soul has been running at The Civic, generally on the last Saturday of the month for over 10 years, it just keeps getting stronger and stronger.
You get all the great soul tunes, generally from the 60’s and 70’s (the odd one sneaks in either side 😊) and we keep on the classic tracks. Nothing too obscure, the big hits and the classic tracks dominate the night. We add a splash of Northern Soul in – again the popular stuff – and it all adds up to a great soulful night, attended by a really, really great crowd.
Think of artists like The Supremes, Otis Redding, Temptations, Four Tops, Billy Ocean, Spinners, Marvin Gaye, Tina Tuner ….
Think of songs like Everlasting Love, Where Did Our Love Go, Working My Way Back To You, Red Light Spells Danger, This Old Heart of Mine, Tears Of A Clown, Do I Love You ….
This is our vibe. It’s joyful and uplifting. We are here to entertain, not to educate you – so we keep the obscure stuff toa minimum, if at all 😊
The Civic has a huge sprung dancefloor so there’s plenty of space to dance the night away and early birds are almost certainly guaranteed a seat.
A really great sound system, clean and punchy, and great visuals make it a quite unique night.
Our Northern Soul Friends 😊 We play a bit of Northern Soul at We Got Soul, and it is the popular stuff. We tend to avoid the cool, obscure stuff. In truth, we are truly blessed in The Black Country to have some of the best Northern Soul DJ’s in the UK, and on any weekend, there are fantastic nights of pure Northern Soul on all over this area, and this is where the Northern Scene lives and thrives – it is brilliant, but it’s not what we do. The Northern Soul stuff we play usually isn’t played at pure Northern Soul nights anymore as it’s far too popular, but that is exactly where we sit. So, you’ll definitely hear some Northern Soul, but not some obscure 1967 B Side of which there are only 10 copies in existence (though you might find our regular We Got Soul DJ has it at home, where he is a vinyl junkie!) 😊
